A Place for Kids Learning Center
maintains a level of excellence that keeps our ranking among the top Centers in San Antonio. Our center has been established since 1995 and continues to provide a safe, secure and loving environment for children in our care. A Place for Kids is a place for children of 12 months to 12 years old. Below are some of the benefits and activities our day care provides. Browse through our site or call for more information!
Our Christian program covers the basics of the Bible and is non-denominational. It is designed to introduce children to prayers, Christian values, and Christian songs. We meet weekly with the pastor for prayer and devotion. Our Christian values are carried over in our everyday practices with meal time prayers, biblical verses, and songs. Check with your child’s teacher for chapel times. We encourage family to come worship with us on Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
Parents Welcome & Encouraged to Visit!
Our daycare center has an "open door policy". Parents are welcome to visit and observe our groups at any time. Observers are expected to respect the children and their schedule by not interrupting in their activities and lessons. If it is seen that the presence of any guest is causing a disruption to the class, you may be asked to leave. We encourage parental involvement. If we are looking for volunteers for any special events, parents will receive a form to sign up to partake in that particular event. If a parent wishes to be involved in any other day to day activities please see the director.
Kudos to A Place for Kids for being KENS5's choice!
On May 4, 2011 KENS5 featured San Antonio day care centers in a story called, "I-Team: San Antonio Day Cares Caught Breaking the Rules". To prepare for the story, they reviewed two years of violations for more than 1,000 centers across the city. After review, it was determined that A Place For Kids ranked among the top 3 for the best record between the years of 2009 to 2011.
On May 2, 2011 KENS5 came with cameras and a camera crew to record a day at our Center. Scheduled to feature all three day care centers, KENS5 felt that our Center offered everything in excellence that a parent should look for when searching for a day care center and only featured A Place For Kids in their story. Therefore making us KENS5 choice! Kudos to A Place for Kids!
